CARBON ZERO

carboNZero is a New Zealand certification programme for minimising climate change impacts. Organisations that have measured, managed, and 'offset' (mitigated) their greenhouse gas emissions and successfully completed a third party audit can be carboNZero certified. At Threshers, we understand the importance of minimising our impact on the environment, and are keen to support suppliers who do this.

The New Zealand Wine Company (NZWC), situated in Marlborough, New Zealand has developed a reputation as a key supporter of the environment. The key areas that NZWC has focused on have been developing an energy-efficient winery, recycling waste water and grape marc, and achieving Sustainable Winegrowing NZ accreditation. Their most recent focus has been gaining carboNZero certification. We are proud to be able to offer our customers the opportunity to support the carboNZero programme through purchasing specially sourced wine from carboNZero certified suppliers in New Zealand.
